My love affair with the Rocky Mountains began in 2008 in Boulder, CO while I was pursuing my undergraduate degree in Philosophy at the University of Colorado. Through various moves across the country and life changes, I ended up with personal health issues that seemed to be unable to be resolved through Western medicine. My search for answers led me to acupuncture, which not only improved my health, but sparked a fascination and curiosity to learn more. Soon after, I relinquished my pursuit of law school (without much hesitation) and headed back to the Rockies to begin my next chapter.
Diving head first into the ancient, mysterious, and often challenging territory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I immediately knew I had made the right decision. It’s almost 5 years later and I couldn’t be happier, feel more passionate, or be more eager to practice and give the gift of health back to the community around me. This ancient and beautiful medicine is truly remarkable, and immensely powerful. It is my hope that you will let me share it with you.
As a healthcare practitioner, I believe that every individual should have access to safe, effective, and affordable treatment options, regardless of whether they’re considered traditional, alternative, Western or Eastern. This is why I am here, this is why I learned this medicine.
At my practice, questions are encouraged and learning is key. I seek to eliminate the typical doctor/patient authoritative relationship, and instead foster a communicative, non-judgmental, and nurturing partnership that puts the patient in charge of their own health.
The world we live in today is filled with misinformation and misguided agendas, making taking care of ourselves and our loved ones often overwhelming, confusing, inaccessible, and seemingly impractical. I will always give you honest and evidence-based advice, heal you with the tools and knowledge I have at my disposal, and provide a safe space for you to heal and rejuvenate for a small portion of your day.
